Visit our site

There is more to the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame than what is confined between the museum walls. The Hall serves as a platform to connect athletes, coaches, sports fans, and supporters by acknowledging life achievements implemented through sports. Our goal at TSHF is to honor accomplishments on and off the field, enshrine the great sports legends throughout history, and educate the youth on the value of sports. We hope to reach out to future generations by sharing lessons of courage, dedication and hard work derived from involvement in athletics. While developing life skills such as teamwork, athletes also understand the importance of responsibility and leadership, as they are seen as role models to fans and future players.

The Hall celebrates athletes of all forms, from all across the great state of Tennessee. Being the Volunteer State, we strive to support and give back to our communities. TSHF aspires to educate our youth about the importance of healthy habits and hope to have a positive impact on their lifestyle choices. The lessons learned through sports can be carried throughout one’s life and influence a person on a multitude of factors. Sports can shape behavior, work ethic, and create a desire to not only accomplish your goals but also excel in them. We want to recognize honorable Tennessee athletes who overcame obstacles to accomplish such goals.
